Some of your shows have been performed before the company was formed, what’s all that about?

As a group of freelancers we were working informally for many years, joining and collaborating on various projects in various ways from 2020-2025. In 2025 John-William decided to formalise not only their way of working, which developed through these projects, but the shared ethos that was evolving, into what is now NOT TO BE REPRODUCED!
How long’s a piece of string?

We are based in the god’s own county, Yorkshire. West Yorkshire to be more specific!
Now we do work all over the shop, nationally and internationally, but artistic director John-William was born and bred in Beeston, Leeds; and the vast majority of company members, live in and are from the north of England.
From working and engaging with artists and audiences up ‘r’ end, to infusing our narrative’s with northern character and colloquialisms, centring northern voices is an important part of what we do.
